Welcome to my gallery of novels and short stories. I have been writing since 2010 and my debut novel Marrying the Admiral's Daughter was first published in 2011 this was followed by a sequel Captain Westwood's Inheritance which entered the Amazon Regency bestselling top twenty. Not only am I a Regency fan but also a Titanic enthusiast. Hence Tomorrow Belongs to Us - romance novel on RMS Titanic was published in 2012. This novel was short-listed at the Festival of Romance in 2012 in the short novel section.
The photo on the right is me dressed in regency costume and sitting at my writing slope in my drawing room at home. I would like to tell you I write all my novels so, but that would be far from the truth. I write via a keyboard directly onto my computer and edit there also. I'm dressed in Regency costume because I love most Regency settings, clothes and novels. I am a member of the Jane Austen Society Midlands, a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association, the Romance Writers of America and an associate member of the Society of Authors. I'm a keen genealogist. I have traced my family name Dunwell back to 1485 - that's the male line and I am working on the female line which is far more challenging. But I did have one wonderful discovery my 3 times Great Grandmother was called Jane Austens (I think I'm allowed the 's' as an extra - of course she was not 'the' Jane Austen but it makes a nice tale. I hope you'll enjoy my books. They can all be found on Amazon both in print and ebook format. Happy reading... Breaking news: soon several of my books will be available in audio. |
Lynda Dunwell's latest novel, April 2022, a prequel to her Aston Regency Romance Series available in ebook and paperback format worldwide from Amazon.
